Overview
Our HRIS team is growing and we're hiring an HRIS Solutions Lead - AI & HR Tools. Reporting to the Global HRIS Leader, In this newly created role, you will have direct responsibility for leading the development and implementation of HR AI solutions throughout all HRIS applications, as well as management and support of user facing HRIS tools. This hands-on role is responsible for managing HRIS projects related to AI, HR Ticketing, and Oracle HCM Cloud from inception to completion, including project planning and management, stakeholder communication, risk management, quality assurance, documentation and reporting, and technology integration.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing processes and drive innovation. This role will be responsible for implementing AI solutions specific to HR applications such as Oracle HCM Cloud, as well as integrating HR AI solutions with enterprise AI strategy.
The ideal candidate for this role has deep technical knowledge of AI/ML as well as strong leadership and communication skills. This role requires technical expertise in a variety of AI tools and solutions such as Oracle HCM (Knowledge Base, HR Helpdesk, Oracle Digital Assistant, AI Agents), WalkMe, MS Copilot, Azure AI, along with experience with integrating AI tools between these systems. Experience with developing Redwood/VBS applications is also beneficial as is strong experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud applications.
This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US or Canada.
How you'll make an impact
- Acts as key technical leader/subject matter expert for assigned HRIS projects.
- Oversee the support and extension of the HR Helpdesk tool to provide a seamless employee experience.
- Develop and implement HR AI strategies that align with business goals across Oracle HCM Cloud and other applications.
- Support projects and customizations within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment that enhance employee experience and ease of use.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI models and systems throughout HRIS applications.
- Collaborate with enterprise AI leadership to develop a seamless experience for user base/ensure the scalability and reliability of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
- Communicate AI concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest AI trends and technologies.
- Ensure AI solutions meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement best practices for AI model development and deployment
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI tools
- Ensure requirements, fixes, and testing processes are clearly documented and outlined; appropriate solutions are proposed, tested and implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Partner effectively with HRIS teams to manage enhancements or system changes, produce solid documentation for all projects and ensure that the entire development cycle is documented from requirements to implementation. Ensure post go live support transitions are completed and ensure quality knowledge transfer.
- Responsible for ensuring all technical deliverables moving to production are tested, have proper signoff, and are technically sound.
- Oversee and enforce governance processes for HRIS and AI initiatives
- Coordinate across all functional/technical teams as needed to ensure production issue fixes or enhancements/projects are thoroughly tested and vetted across all impacted functions.
- This role will manage resources and operations across Gallagher global locations and time zones as required.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years’ experience working with HRIS and AI technologies
- Proven experience as a Project Manager working with HRIS and AI technologies
- Outstanding written and verbal communications; ability to communicate complex technical matters to all levels of leadership
- Ability to hold self and project resources accountable for deliverables
- Good judgment when addressing business requests, responding to inquiries, escalating matters, etc.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in risk management and quality assurance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
