Client Consultant Leader
The Divisional Client Consulting Leader is accountable for leading a Division-wide Client Consulting team that delivers high quality and efficient consulting to both internal and external clients across all of the Division’s Business Lines and Branches. This role reports directly into the Division’s US Client Experience Leader. The Divisional Client Consulting Leader has a direct impact on business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG’s value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and creating a culture of performance and continuous improvement. Through working directly with various Subject Matter Experts within our Business Lines, Practice Areas, Segments and Geographies, this leader will ensure that our Consultants retain our clients by continually expand our relationships within the clients, reinforce our value proposition, actively increase our revenue/client while helping them solve their people issues and meet their strategic goals. Provides leadership to the Branch/Regional Client Consulting Leaders, which includes all aspects of talent acquisition, development, engagement, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Build relationships within GBS US Leadership, including the RPs and APs to collaborate on strategic direction of the Consulting team
- Critical change and communication plans to ensure role clarity is achieved
- Evaluating & Activating Growth in the Retention Consultant Role - Currently the RCs (approximately 115 colleagues).
- Finalize the RC comp plan with HR and Business
- Lead the effort to train RCs on White Space expansion and technical/soft skills needed to be successful in the role
- Participate/Drive Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Creating consistency in the Consultant Role and Achieving Growth – “Game Changing Consultants”
- Consulting team members will grow revenue for the Gallagher will participate fully in revenue growth of the book they lead. The consultant role will guide the enablement of producers to be better This new role will ensure that the local consultants are positioned as a strong bridge to other Service Roles and Producers alike.
- Create Clear Career & Succession pathing and training, including role clarity documents laying out what everyone is responsible for in their current roles. At the same time creating and communicating all the possible paths for non-producers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years client service and/or claims management experience; or High School degree/GED with 2+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
- 10+ years experience leading a team.
- Appropriate licensing as required.
Preferred:
- Familiar with well-known process improvement/quality methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, High-Performance Work Teams, etc.
- Demonstrates a breadth and depth of operational service delivery management expertise focused on service quality, people, process and technology.
- Prior experience designing and implementing.
- Significant experience leading and managing teams (preferably in a matrix environment) with an operational service delivery or shared services environment.
