Overview

The Partnership Activation Coordinator role will support the Partnership Marketing team in activating across multiple asset areas, including partnership content, community involvement, business development, hospitality, etc. for a subset of Gallagher’s sports and entertainment partnership portfolio in North America 


How you'll make an impact

  • Support the Director, Partnership Marketing and partnership marketing team in the successful activation of sports and entertainment partnerships 
  • Handle the day-to-day relationship for a subset of accounts, i.e. partners, within Gallagher’s sports and entertainment partnership portfolio 
  • Collaborate across internal teams in the Marketing & Communications organization for new partner announcements, content publication, experiential events, community opportunities and more  
  • Maintain partnership content calendar and inventory 
  • Assist partnership marketing team members with day-to-day marketing tasks, as well as coordinate projects and activities as requested 
  • Communicate effectively across different markets and levels of the organization to execute partnership assets 
  • Liaise closely with agency partners to track progress on deliverables, provide pertinent updates for partners, etc.   
  • Handle multiple projects at any given time 

About You

Required:

  • Associate's degree and 1 year related experience required.

Highly Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years related experience required in marketing, communications, or related field preferred 
  • Strong organizational, communication and project management skills 
  • 10-20% travel required to meet with partner organizations
  • Experience in corporate partnerships highly preferred 
  • Experience in sports marketing or related industry 
  • Familiarity with various sports leagues and sports trends a plus

  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple partners in multiple geographies 
  • Ability to work independently while being able to establish strong working relationships with a network of internal and external professionals 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, sponsors, and partners 
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Strong problem-solving skills  
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative, and Smartsheet a plus
