Overview
Pronto Insurance is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead our human resources department. As HR Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping our workforce and driving our success, implementing effective HR strategies that align with our organizational goals.
How you'll make an impact
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the business objectives of Pronto Insurance.
- Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention of Pronto employees.
- Supervise the recruitment process, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates to meet high volume hiring needs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, with a preference for familiarity with California labor laws.
- Design and execute training programs to improve employee skills and career development.
- Handle employee relations, addressing grievances and fostering a positive work environment.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies that improve workforce performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention, including recognition programs, career advancement opportunities, and other avenues for employee engagement
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
Skills for success:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Capable in data analysis (MS Excel, PowerBI, or other analytics tools)
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
About You
- Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role handling organizations with a large non-exempt employee population (non-union).
- Experience leading HR in a retail or customer service organization
- Demonstrated experience in high volume recruitment and managing turnover.
- Solid understanding of California labor laws is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
