Overview
The GB Client Financial Service (Banking) Team plays a critical role in analyzing, guiding and managing the financial relationship GB has with its' clients. We serve as an advisor to our clients to ensure funds entrusted to GB for the adjudication of claims are handled with the greatest care and with the needs of the client in mind. Our team acts as a partner with Client Services, Claim Operations, Finance, IT, Legal and clients directly to meet these goals.
Our work supports timely & accurate invoicing of clients to ensure accounts stay well-funded, reconciled and secure. We work to continually enhance the operational efficiency of our processes, which protect clients and GB from a multitude of risks. We regularly communicate with clients and Account Managers and senior members across the organization to meet our goals.
How you'll make an impact
• Provide strong technical financial analysis dedicated to understanding the complex contractual relationships with our clients and ensuring the banking process follows these terms appropriately
• Ensure consistent, scalable processes to ensure accurate and timely client banking replenishments based on contractual relationship with clients
• Ensure appropriate controls, procedures and escalations to allow for appropriate oversight and notification
• Work to drive best practices to ensure the scalability and consistency of processes
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Account Executives, Clients and Finance groups to ensure controls are appropriately applied, especially in relation to client contracts
• Ensure organizational delivery target dates are consistently being met
• Perform ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management and to support business needs
• Leverage expert-level Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas) and Power BI to streamline analysis
• Explore and apply AI tools to elevate reporting and operational efficiency
• Improve processes by identifying bottlenecks and collaborating across teams to implement solutions
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Legal, and others—engaging diverse perspectives and aligning financial strategies to business needs
• Partner directly with clients to resolve issues, support banking conversations, or deliver insights
• Present your findings and recommendations with confidence to senior and executive leadership
• Tackle unstructured projects with curiosity and a strategic mindset, balancing big-picture thinking with detailed execution
• Prioritize effectively under pressure, especially during peak cycles like month-end close, while managing competing tasks and deadlines

About You
- Requires bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience
- Strong PC and Microsoft application skills
- Excel expertise required (pivots, V-lookups, macros)
Preferred:
- Access and Sequel preferred
- Cognos and JDEdwards General Ledger knowledge preferred
- Prefer degree in Accounting or Finance
- Insurance or TPA experience a plus
- CPA, CMA or CFA preferred
